As a destination wedding photographer, Katie considers herself an expert in love stories. 

She wrote her first in third grade (during a unit on Greek mythology, her heroine “Tornada” scoured the Earth to find a lost love), and grew up on a steady diet of Lord of the Rings, Ralph Waldo Emerson, and, of course, Disney princesses. Today she lives in Maryland with her college sweetheart David and their beautiful daughter Madelyn.

When she’s not traveling the world photographing love, tending her ever-expanding heirloom rose garden, baking “rainbow unicorn” cookies, or savoring gluten-free treats in a garden in Paris, you can usually find her curled up with her cats, an iced latte, and a great book.
